Twelve Pictures of Christmas (Plus a Few Bonus Ones Tucked in There)

Here goes . . .

1. I did my hair and wore real clothes on Christmas Eve--a rare and notable event in my life right now.

2. We cooked and ate and cleaned and cooked and ate and cleaned (repeat repeat . . . . .)

3. Santa came!

4. Charlie delivered darling Christmas morning photos.

5. Max went shirtless and delivered his usual.

6. Santa brought Charlie and Max light-sabers.
And one for Tyler too . . .

. . . which Bennett quickly usurped.

7. The kids were so excited to give Tyler presents.

8. Tyler was so excited to give the kids presents.

9. I was so excited to give Tyler these goblets (just like the ones his family has always used for holidays--see above photo of the family dinner). Tyler has always loved them and I found a set on ebay.

10. We went to church, after which I moved into my sweats and stayed in them for 36 hours straight. I'm in them again now.

11. The boys got a ladder and some clues that eventually led them outside . . .

to this!

12. We went back to Hollister Christmas evening and stayed overnight for more family, food, and presents.

The boxing gloves were one thing, but when Tyler and his twin-ish brother Ian started having a competition to see who could handle the worst shocks from a dog-training collar, we knew Christmas was over. (They tied.)

Way to go with wearing real clothes and looking presentable! I feel triumphant each day I accomplish that as well.

Those light sabers look awesome!

I looove the picture of Tyler giving Charlie the golf clubs...the looks on both of their faces is priceless.

You look so good in all of these photos..I had to delete every Christmas morning shot of me...so heinous.

I love to see the Christmas traditions continue at your house. . .all the presents wrapped in individual paper, arranged in piles. Your tree, house and all of you look great! Happy New Year!

Oh, it's becoming all the more obvious why Brad and Tyler are friends.

We had church at nine and as soon as we got home, every last one of us put on our PJs and stayed in them all day. It was the best part of Christmas, in my opinion.

Looks like you all had a terrific holiday! Perfect pics, too.

(Bennett seizing the light saber and the dog-shocking collar stories are the greatest!)

Btw...I took pics of the sunbeams on Sunday, and that's the crap Max was putting out. After 3 attempts, I told him not to "smile."
